Well, summer is fast approaching, and thus I've lost my mind. I'd like it back, so if anybody finds something small and squishy stuck to the bottom of their shoe, please give me a ring as soon as possible. I really need it back so I can bring my grades up, lest I fail the ninth grade and be forever shamed.
When the end of this school year comes, I will have survived (barely) my freshman year at Alamogordo High School, and it can only get better from here.

But seriously, it does. And I've hit a creative rut... I can't draw, I can't write, I can't do anything lately. I really need a change, but being a fourteen-year-old with no way of controlling my situation, I don't think I'll get one for a while. I need to just deal with it.
I never update this thing anymore. Too busy with Mugenjou, I think, but it's really okay. XD Anzu's journal is more interesting than mine.
I'll spare you the rest of my wangst, but now there's not much more to say, except that my Algebra teacher's a biotch. Yup. |

Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Well, I threw up during the PSAT. I got up and left before it happened, though. Still embarassing, though, and I'm at home now. I took some anti-nausea medicine, which is working pretty well, but now I'm sneezing like mad from all the pollen around.
I'm going to be out on Election Day waving Bush-Cheney signs with a bunch of republicans here at busy intersections. Yay! To all my American friends: Get out there and show some pride, whether you're republican or democrat. It's your country too, after all. |

You know what? Duelist Kingdom = Labyrinth
Pegasus is Jareth, Kaiba is Sarah, and Mokuba is Toby.
Pegasus/Jareth steals Mokuba/Toby from Kaiba/Sarah, who goes to Pegasus/Jareth's castle to retrieve him. Not to mention the labyrinth that's actually in Duelist Kingdom (unless I'm mistaken), as well as Para and Dox (Japanese names are Mei and Kyuu, right?) from Duelist Kingdom and the weird little guys behind the shields in front of the doors in Labyrinth.
Not to mention...David Bowie and Pegasus are both damn shmexy.
(By the way, if you haven't seen Labyrinth, you really should, it's worth your time.)

Today's the homecoming parade, and I get to be in it for International Club wearing my Kimono and stuff. ^_^! It's so pretty and it's really actually quite comfortable. It's red cotton with white flowers and a red silk obi with white flowers. It's very important to my mother, as it belonged to her grandmother, who gave it to me and not my mom... She's kind of upset about that, but not angry, just sad a little. But she's taking me to Aiko's today during school to get it put on me because we couldn't figure out how the obi goes because it's really long. Dad suggested maybe it's a fat woman's kimono, and Mom says that I'm slender and it's disgusting. oO;. XD I love Mom, she's so great. I think I might be the only teenager in the world who still thinks my mom is the absolute best. < /bragging about the kimono and my spectacular mother > |

School sucks. What's new? Eh, I'm probably going to go to the homecoming dance to hang out with Darold and Nick, and I'm going to try and pester Kristi into going.
I haven't seriously updated in a long time. Bad me. Hrm.
I feel like the anime library, I'm always lending my stuff out to people. Oh well, if I can keep the interest alive, then it's all worth it. ^_^ Anime club got cancelled, and apparently there's no teacher sponsor for it anymore, so they have to find another one before it can be brought back. I'm going to ask Mrs. Aguilera, she might be interested. Darold wants to start a Divination/Tarot/Wicca Club, but Mom says it probably won't work out, and she's right. Which pisses me off, because the school's got Fellowship of Christian Athletes, so why can't we have Wicca Club? Hypocritical assholes. I know they'll do that though.
Hurk. I feel so ill right now.
I get to be in the Homecoming parade though, for international club! I'm going to be in a kimono! ^_^
